The artist’s participation in the Gaur exhibition is characterized by a departure from the analytical rigor that animates his body of work. There he presents small-format paintings intended to convey emotions. These “inner landscapes” symbolize a direct relationship with nature in a form of controlled expressionism, whose boundaries recall the artist’s deep interest in sculpture.
