In 1970, Néstor Basterretxea began to take an interest in alabaster and its light-reflecting qualities, as well as the possibilities it offers for understanding sculpture. Another sculpture, titled Haize (Wind) and created in 1978, is now part of the collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Vitoria-Gasteiz (ARTIUM).
