Attributed to Charles (1907-1978) & Ray (1913-1988) EAMES & HERMANN MILLER (ed.) DAR (Dining Armchair Rod), the model designed around 1948-1950 ROCKING-CHAIR with molded, brown-tinted fiberglass shell, incruvate back and flared armrests. Later legs in molded wood and black lacquered metal screwed to the shell. Marked V and M in relief on the reverse. Later orange felt cover. Height 71 cm; Width 64 cm; Depth 63 cm (Restoration) Comment : Legs changed at VITRA by the current owner.
